Slide 1

    Time is relative
Going to somewhere that takes 2 hours each way, it feels longer to get there than back. Ten years ago download a file took longer than today, and it was OK. Expectations change overtime. Time has become important and relative.Example the “Good Samaritan”. If people feel pressed about time, they will not stop to help someone.

Slide 2

    Progress Indicator
Provide a progress indicator, because people think a process takes less time if there is an indicator. If the process is variable and does not show how long it is takes, people feel it is taking a longer time and become frustrated.
