But the Vice President also serves as ceremonial assistant to the President and is an important part of the President's administration. PRESS SECRETARY- a senior White House official whose primary responsibility is to act as spokesperson for the executive branch of the United States government administration, especially with regard to the President, senior executives, and policies. BULLY PULPIT- a public office or position of authority that provides its occupant with an outstanding opportunity to speak out on any issue.
