World of TradeThe best of everything come from South Asia, East Asia, and South-East Asia.

Constantinople Europe's GatewayThe starting point for Europeans was a major port city, Constantinople. It was the capital of the last territories of the once-great Roman Empire.

Constantinople FallsAfter the fall of Constantinopole in 1453 CE, Europeans needed a new gate way to get to India and China to buy spices, silks, and other luxuries.

Spanish's New RichesSpanish stole gold from the Native Americans and used the Natives as slaves to mine gold and silver from the Central and South America. Ships full of gold began crossing the Atlantic Ocean back to Europe.

Colonists Emigrated From European countries 32 million Europeans, mostly poor, began new lives in the American Colonies between 1500 and 1924. They destroyed ancient forests, tunneled deep into ancient mountains, and removed much of the America's natural resources to be used by powerful kings and rulers in far away palaces and mansions. 12 million Africans, carted over as slaves, began new lives when the slavery was abolished during the 1800s. But because of the deep racism, the historically more powerful Europeans and Euro Americans made it very difficult for African Americans to succeed. Even Haiti, a country founded by former slaves, continues to be the poorest nation in all the Americas.
