Página 1

DNA is genentic material in bacteria and most other organisms

Mutations causes change in DNA and it results in different characteristics

These mutations might lead to resistance to antibiotics

R

Resistance might be passed by vertical gene transmission

this is where the genes are passed by generations

Horizontal gene transmission

The plasmid with the resistance replication in the donor cell.a conjugation tube forms between the donor and recipient cellsthe plasmid then passes over to the other cell giving it, its resistance.

Antibiotic resistance makes it difficult to treat MRSA and tuberculosis, because resistance is based on to different bacterium
