The Design Argument

The [blank_start]Design[blank_end] Argument was developed by William [blank_start]Paley.[blank_end] Paley's argument is a [blank_start]posteriori[blank_end] meaning that it is based on [blank_start]experience[blank_end] that we can see in the world around us .

William Paley used an [blank_start]analogy[blank_end] of a [blank_start]watch[blank_end] to explain his argument. To explain his [blank_start]three[blank_end] basic observations of the world its complexity, regularity and [blank_start]purpose.[blank_end]

Some objects in the world show clear [blank_start]evidence[blank_end] that they were [blank_start]designed[blank_end] because they exhibit [blank_start]complexity[blank_end] and regularity from which we can say that they were made for a [blank_start]purpose[blank_end] e.g the [blank_start]eye[blank_end].
