We are tested to that Allah swt downgrade our ranks due to disobedience.

Allah created death and life to test who is good in his deeds. So life is a name of test. Difficulties are a part of life. So that we can prepare for hereafter and gain reward.

Some tests are the consequences of our actions.

We are tested so that we can reflect on our actions, not rectify them and not seek forgiveness.

People are tested according to the level of disobedience.

People are tested according to the level of righteousness.

People are tested according to the level of maturity.

ف ف و - We pardoned / forgave ; A'faa to wipe off something, to erase something. A'foo is forgiveness and pardon in such a way that you punish them. Allah SWT send any immediate punishment on the Bani Israel. Allah SWT didn't annihilate them.

و ع د - we made an appointment ; Wa'd is a promise. Waa'aad with an Alif is to make a promise with someone. 2 parties are involved. Allah SWT made an appointment with Musa AS at Mount Tur for 40 nights.

with the LIMBS. Performing actions that Allah likes to show gratitude.
