Colors have a different meanings
Colors can also provoke different emotions
Ex. Red means danger or stop. Green means money or go...at least where we live. So it is very important that when using colors, you have reason or meaning behind why, rather than picking a color at random. Especially, if you are designing for other parts of the world.
When Designing for other Parts of the world, consider what their colors mean in their culture.
An example would be that in the U.S., white expresses purity and weddings while in other cultures such as the Chinese culture, it uses white for funerals and death.
