Destructive Plate Boundary A destructive plate boundary is when the oceanic plate is forced underneath the continental one.
Constructive Plate Boundary A constructive plate boundary is where two plates are pushed apart.
Collision Plate Boundary when oceanic and continental plates move together.

Dormant Volcano A dormant volcano is where the volcano hasn't erupted in recent times.
Extinct Volcano An extinct volcano is where the volcano hasn't erupted for 1,000,000 years and probably won't erupt again.
Active Volcano An active volcano is a volcano which has erupted recently and is likely to erupt again.
Shield Volcano A shield volcano is a volcano that has gently sloping sides and is usually composed of fluid lava.
Composite Volcano A composite volcano is a volcano which has large steep sides and is built up with ash and lava.
Focus The focus is the centre of an earthquake.
Epicentre The epicentre is the point above the focus.
