noun [def.] a word or group of words that refers to a person, place, or thing or any syntactically similar word
noun - divisions mnemonic: C - U - P (1) countable nouns (2) uncountable nouns (3) proper nouns
noun - divisions Give 3 examples per division. mnemonic: C - U - P (1) table (s); house(s); computer(s) (2) music; milk; wood (3) London; Paul; Christmas
countable noun [def.] can take a / an and has a plural (meervoud)
uncountable noun [def.] cannot take a / an and they have no plural (meervoud)
proper noun [def.] names of people, places and things (eigennamen)
article [def.] Is placed in front of a noun. Indicates determinacy, meaning if the noun takes a definite or an indefinite state article. In some languages it is also used to indicate the gender aspect of the word.

indefinite article (onbepaald lidwoord) a -> used before consonants (medeklinkers) an -> used before vowels (klinkers) {a - e - i - o - u}
verb (werkwoord) [def.] The part of speech that expresses an action or a state.
Here are two verbs. (1) works; (2) were Indicate which expresses a state and which expresses an action by placing each in a sentence. Specify that function by placing the following behind the sentence: {action} or {state}. (1) She works in an office. {action} (2) Where were you yesterday. {state}

verb - division 2 [theory] 1.Indicate to what verb division { (to) go} belongs. 2.Give the infinitive / present tense, the past tense and the past participle tense of the verb. irregular verbs go - went - gone
