The Domain Bacteria Unicellular prokaryotes with no internal composition and have a strong cell wall. They are both autotrophs and heterotrophs.
The domain Archaea Unicellular prokaryotes with a cell wall and membrane. They are both heterotrophs and autotrophs.
The domain Eukarya Composed of the domains Protista, Fungi, Plantae, and Animalia.They are unicellular and multicellular eukaryotes. They have a highly organized cell interior and can sexually reproduce.

Colonial organism A group of cells that are permanently associated but do now communicate with each other
Aggregation A temporary group of cells that come together for a period of time and then separate
Multicellular organism A organism that is composed of many cells that are permanently associated with one another. Can only occur in eukaryotes.
Differentiation The process by which cells develop a a specialized form and function.
Tissue A distinct group of cells with similar structure and function.
Organ Made up of different tissues that carry out a major function.
Organ system Various organ that carry out a major body function.
Kingdom Protists Are eukaryotes that are not fungi, plants, or animalia. They are a very diverse group.
Kingdom Fungi Are mostly multicellular. Are heterotrophs.
Kingdom Plantae Multicellular autotrophs with specialized cells and tissues.
Kingdom Animalia Complex multicellular heterotrophs. Lack cell walls and are organized in tissues. They can reproduce sexually.
