What are the four fieldwork models?	1. Same-site model of fieldwork -Level I and II at same site 2. Part-time fieldwork -Supports students with special learning needs, longer academic program 3.Project-focused/role-emerging models -Placement with no OT on site 4. Collaborative models -Placement with one or more supervisors working with multiple students
What does it mean to be competent?	-Having knowledge, critical thinking, motives, traits, characteristics or skills to achieve a specific goal or perform job responsibilities. -Result of comparing one's practice process and outcomes with a specific criterion such as evidence-based practice
What is a potential consequence of incompetence or substandard evaluation?	-May harm the client causing permanent functional limitations -Practitioners may be held legally liable for malpractice -Incompetent action resulting in harm may lead to censure by professional groups such as AOTA or NBCOT
What are some roles of the occupational therapy professional organizations?	Making significant contributions as consultants to governments in academia and have played a major role in broadening the scope of practice and the scientific body of knowledge
