The AFCPE requires that which individuals adhere to the Standards of Practice and Code of ethics? The ACC designee, students and those we supervise
According to the Standards of Practice, what information do we need to disclose (preferably in writing) to the clients? Inform them of the process, the relationship and any fees associated with the counsel
An ACC designee must agree to adhere to the code of ethics, which describes 12 behaviors you will agree to display, describe the information pertaining to criminal behavior. An ACC designee agrees to avoid any act or omission that violates relevant criminal law and agrees to report to the AFCPE Executive Board any felony charges that may be brought against you
The grievance policy is designed to protect whom? The designee, program enrollees and the certification program, and the AFCPE

The two values of effective communication are humanistic, growth-producing and efficiency and Parsimony, how do these differ? Humanistic, growth producing is maximizing a clients’ potential by showing them they are worthwhile; Efficiency and Parsimony is about saving time and money by being quick and effective.
Describe the term representational map Everyone develops a unique representation of the world through their life experiences and their reactions to their experiences; it is their perception or view of the world.
Name one of the two ways the misunderstanding occur when developing a representational map. -They assume their representational map is the same as reality -They assume that what is true for them must be true for others
One of the principles of information processing is that people develop different ways of processing information, what are the three types? (Hint: types of learners) Auditory (through talking and listening), Visual (through watching others, seeing a film or studying a diagram), and Kinesthetic (through active participation, doing)
Give an example that describes the 4th principle of information processing, changing information in one processing mode changes it in another Switching from using a credit card to purchasing using cash only or when dieting tracking all food one eats, changes how much someone eats.
