Practice using tell in indirect speech. Instructions: Student A will say the name of a student in class and then he/she will read the sentence. The person whose name was called out will give the sentence in reported speech using the verb tell. |
Example: Maria: Carlos, I need to talk to you. Carlos: Maria told me that she needed to talk to me. | I will see you tomorrow. |
I know your brother. | I have met your father. |
I´m getting tired. | I am single. |
I like ice cream. | I won´t come to the university tomorrow. |
I can´t read your handwriting. | I don´t like sushi. |
