Resumen del Recurso

Homeostatis
  1. Homeostatis is usually achieved by a process called negative feedback. A change in the level of an internal factor causes effectors to restore the internal enviroment to its orginal level
    1. Control mechanisms. All homeostatic control mechanisms that use negative feedback, whether physical or biological, share similar components. They all have an output which is controlled, and a set point (norm)
      1. The set point is usually determined genetically and is desired or optimal physiological stae for the output. The control mechanism also has detectors to monitor the actual output. A comparator compares the actual output with the set point
