  1. What is recycling?
    1. Recycling is a process of converting the waste materials a new materials and objects.
    2. How does recycling work?
      1. Materials to be recycled are either brought to a collection center or picked up from the curbside, then sorted, cleaned, and reprocessed into new materials destined for manufacturing.
      2. How does it help?
        1. It can save material and help lower greenhouse gas emissions
        2. This practice has been around throughout the history of mankind, with recorded advocates as far back as Plato in the fourth century BC.
          1. EPA released significant findings on the economic benefits of the recycling industry with an update to the national Recycling Economic Information (REI) Study in 2016.
