   2. Don't need workers to work on land-families=smaller

   3. Workers can work in factories-boosts economic growth
2. URBANISATION
   1. Moving of peeps from rural 2 urban areas
   2. More opportunities:jobs,education,better housing
   3. Smaller families-generally in urbanisation-pop. growth slows down

   1. LEDC'S-education of girls at secondary schools
   2. Pop. slows down (LEDC'S)
   3. MEDC'S-parents may have fewer children-spend more $$$ on each child
4. STATUS OF WOMEN
   1. Education improves-opportunities for girls+women improve
   2. Women-can choose to have a career+ when to have a fam
