          2. Goverment restrictions in the crises
            1. The chanceller annourced that electricity supplies to industry be suspened but house holders would have three hours of electricity from 9am and two hours from 2pm
              1. There were more intensive restrictions
                1. Magazines suspened
                  1. newsprint became more rationed
                    1. No grey hound racing
                      1. No exteriy lighting
                    2. Labours responce reflected their approch to the country economic problems
                      1. They started a propaganda campaign urgin the public to use less coal and electricity
                        1. due to the fact that 90% of energy came from coal
                          1. In December 1946 there where fuel shortages seriously affecting the whole economy
                          2. This state approach reflects their approach to the economy. which involved the state taking out huge loans and nationalising industry
