RockSteady is a multi-award winning national music outside agency, paid for on a termly basis by parents, offering broad and generous bursary schemes.
Phase 1

Weekly sessions in place for children to attend and perform, specialising in their instrument and performing every term

Ian (HT) would like to bring admin and payments in-house so that he has control over the assembly of the 9 piece bands and the distribution of assets.
Groove School
Nota:
To replace SuperSonics, Groove School will initially focus on the Guitar and the Flute. Within the 3 after-school sessions children will also learn Composition and they will take part in Samba Band.
Groove School will commence in January 2022.
Phase 1
Nota:
A timetable which allows 63 children to specialise in either Guitar or Flute whilst studying Samba and Music Composition. Phase 1 will be the appointment of quality staff & the establishment of a successful timetable including home practice. Revenue generated from fee in Y1 will be focused on buying flutes for all Y5 and Y6 students which will be rented.

My vision is to have a high quality singing resource adopted and available to class teachers across the keystages to facilitate DAILY IN-CLASS SINGING.
Phase 1

Individual use of Singup Subscription to facilitate whole school curriculum and celebratory calendar. Emailing of MP3s and lyric PDFs to class teachers for class learning of RE and topic linked songs.
Phase 2
Nota:
Schoolwide adoption of daily singing sessions.
This phase is dependent on SMT allowing a budget.

Choirs for KS1 and KS2 will launch under the CLUBS umbrella in early 2022 to begin community and school performances by the Summer.
