        1. Melody: Head: based on leap of a major 6th, 2nd phrase rises and falls conjunctly, use of mordents and acciaccaturas. Solo melodies are all improvised
          1. Instruments: piano (trill), bass, drumkit, trumpet (muted), alto sax, tenor sax.
            1. Tonality: mixolydian mode on G. Mixolydian mode on C.
              1. Texture: mostly homophonic.
