  1. swapping resources to enhance your wellbeing. when one person has a lot of one resources they might trade it for some resources they don't have
    1. eg- trading money for a lift

  1. values are a product of our environment and experiences. values are a persons feeling or attitudes about things that are important to them.
    1. eg- education, health, honesty

    1. knowledge and skills develop, more educated might have age restriction
  2. Gender
    1. stereotypes, some resources might not be accessed in fear of labelled/judged
  3. Culture
    1. language barrier will make it difficult to access resources, traditions
  4. Disability
    1. if someone has a disability it might be a challenge to access other resources if you were eg- vision imparired
  5. Education
    1. more money, greater knowledge increase awareness of resources
  6. Socioeconomic status
    1. employment status, income level. high SES = high income, low SES = low income
3. Access to support

    1. structured and well organised, specific type of service or support
  2. informal resources
    1. little structure made up of family and friends
