Question Answer
DEPENDENT VARIABLE The variable you will be measuring in an experiment. You will measure the magnitude of the effect of the independent variable.
INDEPENDENT VARIABLE The variable you change, the variable you test. Is the variable you modify in the experiment to see what happens.
CONTROLLED VARIABLES The variables you make sure they will be kept constant in the experiment.
CONTROLLED GROUP The variable you don't apply the independent variable, you leave it as a comparison.
