Biotic Conditions | The living features of an ecosystem. Eg. Predators and Presence of food. |
Abiotic Conditions | The non-living features of an ecosystem. Eg. Temperature and Soil pH |
Habitat | The place where an organism lives in an ecosystem. |
Niche | The role of a species within it's habitat. Eg. Where and when it feeds. What it eats |
Adaptation | A feature that a member of species has that gives them a better chance of survival and reproduction |
Population | All the organisms of one species in a habitat. |
Community | Populations of different species in a habitat. |
Population Size | Total number of organisms of one species in a habitat. |
Abundance | The number of individuals of one species in a particular area. |
Distribution | Where a particular species is in the area being investigated. |
