The CPU performs what cycle? Fetch-Decode-Execute
What does CPU stand for? Central Processing Unit
What does the Program Counter do? Counts what program it is going to perform next cycle.
What does increasing the amount of cores do? Allows the computer to do more per Hertz
What is clock speed? Clock speed tells us the amount of instructions a CPU can process per second
What is Cache? Cache is a small amount of fast, temporary storage.
What is the Arithmetic & Logic Unit The ALU performs mathematics and logic operations.
What is the Fetch Decode Execute cycle? A process in which the CPU fetches information from RAM, decodes it to find out its function and then executes upon that decode
What does RAM stand for? Random Access Memory
