Step 1 How to prepare for a speaking task
Step 2 When you prepare to speak for an oral test it is important to think about what language and what structures you should use.
step 2.1 You should focus on: the vocabulary; the grammar you are expected to use; you should also think about what you may be asked about the topic you are going to talk about.
Step 3 Prepare a mind map of the topic you are going to use. There are lots of programs which can help you to do this: GoConqr, C-map tools, etc.
Step 4 Try to think about how to develop your map adding other ideas/concepts and sub-ideas to the main topic. Think about what you may be asked
Step 4.1 Remember you are going to speak for about 5 minutes.
Step 5 Record yourself while speaking. Then listen to the recording.
