Mean | "Mean" is another word for "average" where you add all data values together and divide it by the number data values present. For e.g. 1, 2, 3 (1 + 2 + 3 = 6/3) The average will be 2 |
Median | "Median" is the "middle" value in a list of numbers. For e.g. 1,2,3,4,5,6 The median will be 3 |
Mode | 'Mode" is the value that occurs most often. If no number is repeated, then there is no mode for the list. For e.g. 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3 The mode will be 2 |
Range | "Range" is just the difference between the largest and smallest values. For e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (5 - 1 = 4) The range will be 4 |
