What is the purpose of the cell wall? (2) To maintain the cell's structure and stop them from bursting
Why can bacteria survive in almost any habitat? They can consume a huge range of organic nutrients that provide them with energy. Some bacteria can even produce their own nutrients.
How do bacteria reproduce? Asexually through Binary Fission (split in two - they are clones of each other)
What conditions allow bacteria to increase their rate of reproduction? If it's warm and there is a good source of nutrients
