Question Answer
Yalta Members Churchill Stalin Roosevelt
Yalta Problem: Germany They all agreed to hunt down the old Nazi members that had either committed war crimes or were part of the SS.
Yalta Problem: Reparations Stalin was hit the heaviest and therefore wanted reparations whereas both Churchill and Roosevelt didn't want to repeat the actions of WW1.
Yalta Problem: Japan All three agreed that they would all fight Japan who were still fighting the war.
Yalta Problem: Eastern Europe All three agreed that Stalin could have influence over the area.
Yalta relationships All three of the leaders went in to Yalta being wary but trying to get along with one another, and it worked. All three got on well with one another excluding the differences they had between them. Stalin being the outsider here was described as "Friendly and affable."
Yalta Problem: Poland Churchill and Roosevelt both didn't want Russia to to move its border into Poland but they both let it happen anyway.
Yalta Problem: United Nations All three agreed to join the league of nations.
Potsdam Members Attlee Stalin Truman
Potsdam Problem: Reparations Here, it was decided that Russia could have anything from the Eastern zone- which it owned- and 25% of all the industrial equipment from the Western sides. This all could be taken back to Russia.
Potsdam Problem: Poland At Yalta the position of Poland's new border wasn't finalised whereas at Potsdam it was. Stalin also promised to keep free elections there which weren't rigged by Russia.
Potsdam Problem: Tension Unlike before there was little relationship between the leaders mostly because they were all suspicious of each other. Truman had just told Russia that their nuclear testing had been successful also.
