Has rebranding developed Leeds as a centre for art and culture on regional or national level? | - The Royal Armouries receives around 200 - 250 visitors a day - Sculptures have been built at the riverside and in the city centre. - Poor advertising and signing means that the area is 'off the beaten track' and receives few visitors. |
Has rebranding improved retail opportunities? | - Only 40% of people recognized the Oracle restaurant, showing that it is not an especially active area. - Many businesses left in 2010. - Concentrating on retail has been ineffective due to proximity to huge shopping areas. |
