Jesus Christ -The wandering teacher of the Christian religion who attracted followers that eventually took his teachings throughout the Roman world/ beyond. -Born to Mary/ Joseph on Judea in 4 BCE -believed to be the Messiah by a few Jewish followers/ termed Christ, taken from Greek for "the annointed one. -Preformed miracles/ healed the sick, preached that the Kingdom of God was at hand, & urged his followers to practice a demanding/ loving ethic -crucified by the Romans in about 33 CE for being a political rebel & his rising from the dead took place 3 days after -his life was outlined in the Gospels (first 4 books of the Christian scriptures) by the evangelists (Mark, Matthew, Luke and John)

Allah -single God/ divinity of the Islamic faith -cannot be figurally depicted in art -spoke to Muhammed, who initiates the faith
