| Phenotype | The observable charecteristics of an individual resulting from its genotype |
| Dominant Allel | The allel that is always expressed when present in the genotype |
| Reccesive Allel | Will only be expressed when the dominant is absent |
| Homozygous | When the alleles are the same |
| Heterozygous | When the alleles are different |
