Question Answer
"They just make things a lot easier" PRESENT SIMPLE: We use it to express a fact.
"No mobile phones, MP3 players, TV, DVD or computers were allowed in the house" PAST SIMPLE AND PASSIVE VOICE: We use to express a past fact and to demonstrate that in this sentence the objects are more important than the doer that made the action.
"She said it had changed the way they ate, slept, made friends, fought, planned and played" PAST PARTICIPLE AND REPORTED SPEECH: We use it for actions that happened in the past and continue in the present and to inform of what somebody had said before.
"HOWEVER, they got used to their new way of life" LINKING WORDS/CONNECTORS: We use linking words to connect one sentence to another.
"They were using several electronic devices simultaneously most of the time" PAST CONTINUOUS: We use this tense to describe an action that was in progress in the past.
1- What will you find most difficult about this week? I think that is a very challenging experiment because nowadays electronic devices are part of our lifes. The most difficult thing for me would be that i wouldn´tbe able to talk with my friends.
2 - What, if anything, will you enjoy about having no electronic devices? I think that the best part would be having all the family together playing board games and having fun doing several different activities.
3 - What will you do in your free time without a phone/TV/MP3 player/Internet/DVDs/computer/video game? I would probably do different sports, read, play instruments and spend time with my family.
4 - How will you keep in contact with friends' I would talk to them at school and plan everything, and if that's not possible I would write letters or go to their houses and ask them to come out and play.
