What music means to me? Gemma Smith | Part of our A2 media coursework is to create a music video and I have to carry out I need to make sure that I understand the audience, this can be done by understanding how I consume music. I have taken this information off my teachers a2 blog so I know what I need to understand who your audience is and so how to target them, recognising their needs and tailoring your productions to them. Awareness of the role of constructing an identity, visuals and persona - this is appealing and needs to connect with the audience. Recognition that the audience needs to connect emotionally with your video/song is key to creating a good media product - humour, pathos, shock value etc. |
One track which reminds you of your childhood | The track I have chosen which reminds me of my childhood is 'S Club 7 - Reach for the stars.' This song reminds me of my childhood because I used to go to Center parcs with my family when I was younger and when I went to the children's disco the song was always played. |
One track which reminds you from your early teens | I don't have a specific track from my early teens but I have an album which reminds me of my early teens, 'Justin Biebers - My World 2.0'. I used to listen to this as I had the CD brought for me for my birthday and it reminds me of my early teens. |
