What is massed practice? This is a continuous form of practice which is best for simple skills.
example rally in badminton only using one shot
What is distributed practice? Attempts at the skill are divided up with intervals
example sprinting
What is variable practice? involves repeating a skill in varying situations
example shooting practice in football from different positions on the pitch
what is mental practice? performer has mental image of the perfect model in there head given by demo
example demonstration of a pass in football then performer does it.
