What is the glucose turned into to store it into seeds? lipids (fats and oils).
Where in the plant is the starch stored? Roots, stems and leaves.
why is starch better to store than glucose? Because it is insoluble.
When is the starch out to use? When photosynthesis isn't happening, such as in the winter.
What happens to cells that hold lots of glucose? They draw in lots of water and swell up.
