Acciaccatura • Acciaccatura: a quick “crushed” note played at the same time as, and crushed into the following note eg. Pink Panther – related to trill – form of ornamentation
Appoggiatura • Appoggiatura: “leaning note” related to acciaccatura – slower – Jaws theme – form of ornamentation

Concerto A piece of music centering around one instrument or performer with the accompaniment of an orchestra
Glissando pitch to move up or down in a wide range eg. On a piano or a violin – used in 50’s dance – plural = glissandi
