Question Answer
How do you Differentiate? Times by the power and then decrease the power by 1
What does differentiation do? Find the gradient of a tangent to a curve at any point.
How do you use it? Substitue in the x value of your coordinate and whatever you get is the gradient
How do you integrate? Increase the power by 1 and divide by the new power
When do you use it? When you need an equation of a line and have this or a similar notation shown f'(x). Integrating it will give f(x).
