What are the 23rd pair of chromosomes? | They are the sex chromosomes so they decide whether you are male or female. |
What alleles do males have? | XY- The Y chromosome is what creates the male characteristic. |
What alleles do women have? | XX- The lack of Y chromosome creates female characteristics. |
What percentage chance is there of having a boy? | 50% chance. There is also a 50% chance of having a girl. |
What causes the male reproductive system to occur? | The Y chromosome creates testes and this in turn creates the male sex hormone and completely develops the male reproductive system. |
What creates the female reproductive system? | In females the Y protein is not produced so this creates ovaries and then in turn produces the whole of the female reproductive system. |
