Why is Mg2+ important in plants? | It is a constituent of chlorophyll. No magnesium = no chlorophyll. Without chlorophyll, plants can't photosynthesise and produce glucose (needed for growth) |
Why is iron important to humans? | It is a constituent of haemoglobin which transports oxygen around the blood |
