Teachers must:
• Have a body posture with an air of confidence and optimism.
• Make eye contact with all students frequently.
• Move around to the classroom.

Unplanned Teaching: Midstream Lesson Changes
What to do when:

Physical Environment
1. Sight, sound, and comfort
• Classroom must be free from external noises as possible.
• Chairs should be appropriately arranged.
•Chalkboards must be erased.
•Classroom must be neat and clean.
2. Seating arrangements
•Learners should be able to see one another.
• Teacher should make students do not feel like they are in a military formation.
•Teacher should determine who sits next to whom.
3. Chalkboard use
• Teachers must use the chalkboard orderly.
• Teachers should avoid chaos in the chalkboard.
4. Equipment
Teachers must:
• Know how the equipment operates.
• Make sure everyone can see/hear the visual/auditory aids.
• Have plan b, c, d etc. In case something goes wrong.
Creating a Positive Classroom Climate
1. Establish rapport
Teachers have to:
• Show interest in each student as a person
• Work with students and nor against them.
• Give feedback on each person's progress
• Laugh with students and not at them.
2. Balancing praise and criticism
Teachers have to:
• Show verbal and nonverbal variety
• Foster intrinsic motivation to continue to pursue goals.
• Specify the particular of an accomplishment.
3. Generating energy
Teachers have to:
• Express confidence
• Positive beliefs
• Be happy with students into the classroom.
