Fairtrade
  1. A coffee company and a group of coffee farmers decide to work together
    1. They agree a price for the coffee, that covers the cost of growing it and the farmers' cost of living plus some extra
      1. The company pays some of the money in advance, before the harvest, so that the farmers won't run short
        1. The Fairtrade Foundation has to check the deal, before the company can use the Fairtade logo on its coffee
          1. In shops people who want to help the coffee farmers will buy the coffee - and they don't mind that it costs a bit more!
