VOICE
- DEFINITION We use
the passive voice
when we are more interested in
what happen to the
subject. Who or
What causes an
action is unknown or
unimportant
- FIRST: We replace the
subject of the sentence
with the object
- EXAMPLE: Factories make plastic. Plastic is
made by factories.
- EXAMPLE: Factories make plastic. Plastic is
made by factories.
- SECOND: we change the
verb pattern
- PRESENT PASSIVE VOICE

- China grows rice. ----- Rice is grown by China.
