Annotations:

• Subject is the person or thing doing the action or being described.

1. SImple

   Annotations:

   • The main world of the subject is called simple subject (Bare)
2. Complete subject

   Annotations:

   • The subject and all the words attached to it are called Complete subject
3. Implied subject

   Annotations:

   • A subject implied occurs when it is not stated.
4. Compound subject

   Annotations:

   • Consists of two or more simple subjects that share a verb or verb phrase.

Annotations:

• Predicate is what a person or thing is doing, or what new information we learn about that person or thing.

1. Complete predicate

   Annotations:

   • the main verb and all the words are attached to it 
2. Simple predicate

   Annotations:

   • Here we find just the main verb
3. Compound predicate

   Annotations:

   • A compound predicate is two or more verbs or verb phrases that share the same subject and are joined by a conjunction
