Red blood cell
Its function is to carry oxygen around the body.
Special Features
Does not have a nucleus s it can carry more oxygen.
Has a large suface area to allow rapid diffusion of oxygen.
Contains haemoglobin which joins with oxygen.
Nerve cell
Its function is to carry nerve impulses to different parts of the body.
Special Features
Long so that they can transmit impulses over long distances
Has connections at each end to help transfer the messages
Can carry electrical signals.
Female reproductive cell (egg cell)
Its function is to join with the male cell and then to provide food for the new cell that's been formed.

Contains lots of cytoplasm.
Male reproductive cell (Sperm cell)
Its function is to reach the female cell and join with it.

Has a long tail for swimming
Has a head for getting into the female cell.

Its function is to absorb water and minerals.

Its function is to absorb sunlight for photosynthesis.
