Minor
Irregular ungrammatical, doesn't have a verb.
E.G. 'For Sale.'
Complex
One main clause and one or more subordinating clauses (dependent) joined by subordinating conjunctions.
IF, WHEN, UNTIL, ALTHOUGH, BECAUSE.
E.G. 'I burned dinner but not the cake.'
Compound-Complex
Coordination and subordination occurring within the same sentence,
E.G. 'I left early because it was late and I had an early start.'
