Adding And Subtracting Signed Numbers
- To add numbers that have the same sign, just add the numbers and bring down the sign
- To add numbers that have different signs, find the difference between the two and put the sign of the larger number as your answer
- When there is no + or - sign in front of a number, it is assumed to be positive
- To subtract signed numbers, change the sign of the second number and apply the two rules of addition
