What is Programming Language?
There are thousands of different languages (python, c++, basic, etc.) that vary in complexity and purposes.
It is a language that allows you to give instructions to your computer in order to program it.
History
The first programmable computer came in the 9th century by the brothers Musa in Baghdad.
In the 1800s programs were used to command machines (such textile machines and self playing pianos).
In world war II, programs were used to decipher hidden messages, and eventually became the x factor that caused the allies to win the war.
Python
Python is a widely used programming language. Its simplicity and ability to code in fewer lines have caused its popularity to increase exponentially.
Python is very flexible, for it allows multiple programming paradigms, that make it a simple, friendly and necessary program
Part of python's popularity comes from its ability to be downloaded from a variety of systems through third party apps.
It has a dynamic type system, an automatic memory management and a cohesive standard library that allows you to program with ease.
It has been implemented in famous programs such as YouTube, Reddit, Yahoo!, etc. and some more complicated like NASA.
It first appeared in February, 1991.
