Costume analysis.
  1. Costume is very important in a music video as it can suggest what kind of person the artist is through what they are wearing at the time.
    1. Catfish and the Bottlemen, Soundcheck.
        1. Early in the video, the singer is shown wearing a black blazer with a black shirt. This is done purposely to comply with the genreral stereotype of what is normally in indie rock music videos. In this specific scenario it was done deliberately to tie in with the black and white theme of the music video.
      1. Arctic Monkeys, Fluorescent Adolescent.'
          1. Similar to the 'Soundcheck' costume that i analyse below, the costume shown here is of a very dark colour once again, he is wearing a long dark jacket with what appears to be a suit. This is done purposely for the same reason as Soundcheck as it complies with what indie rock music is known for. However, in this particular music video, it is done purposely to suggest the dark nature of music and the artist, as well as the genre as a whole.
