1. Osgood-Schlatter Disease
  1. knee pain w/ swelling
  2. clinical

  4. teenage athlete
Scoliosis
1. Initial test: Adam's test (asymmetric shoulders) Best diagnostic: Xray
2. brace or surgery
3. adolescent female
Tumors
1. Ewing
  1. initial: Xray Diagnostic: biopsy
  2. - t(11; 22)
  3. onion skin lesion on midshaft distal femur
2. Osteogenic sarcoma
  1. retinoblastoma
3. sunburst on midshaft
4. Osteoid Osteoma
  1. - unilateral bone pain - worse at night - better w/ NSAIDS
    1. if BILATERAL bone pain - worse at night - better w/ NSAIDS. Dx: normal growth pains
