2. Germany planned Operation Sealion, using France, had to defeat Royal Navy and RAF
3. RAF: 600 Spitfire/Hurricane, Germany: 1000 fighters/1500 bombers

5. RAF pilots were inexperienced and were often exhausted
6. Britain won because of RADAR and aircraft. Germans changed tactics and bombed London

Atomic bomb
