Anonymity will be partially protected in that some means of identifying information will be collected and possibly used in the analysis process. This information includes age, sex, education, family composition and occupational information. However, participants real names will not be used, instead they will be replaced with pseudonyms, and any identifying information will be protected to the best of my abilities and removed from the transcripts. Certified members of the ACMG living in Canmore form a small and interconnected group. As such, the personal information collected and used in the analysis and write up process may be enough to identifying the individual within the community. I will be especially careful not to share interview information within the group. This will be explained in similar words to each participant in the letter of invitation, the informed consent form and immediately before the interview process begins.
